Back to the Picture is currently showing pieces from our Private Collection. Composed mostly of color lithography, our collection includes Picasso's The Dove, a hand-colored Homage to Man Ray by Calder, Man Ray's Rue Ferou, Leonor Fini's Ileria, four pieces from Dalí's suite Les Songes Drolatiques de Pantagruel, the frontpiece from Jose Luis Cuevas's Homage to Quevedo, Calder's Red Flag, and many more. We are also featuring three intricate linocuts by emerging artist Maxime Grossman.

Featuring many Latin American themed pieces as well as popular vintage and museum images, decorator artwork can be seen at both Back to the Picture locations, as well as at Javalencia Cafe at 920 Valencia Street.

Street parking is metered Monday through Saturday until 6:00 pm, Free Sunday. Easy parking can be found at the Mission Bartlett Garage, on 21st Street between Mission and Valencia Streets, a short one-block walk from Back to the Picture.
Muni lines 26 Valencia, 14 Mission, and 49 Van Ness to 20th Street will put you within one block of Back to the Picture on Valencia. J Church to Dolores Park at 20th is a two-block walk to Valencia Street.
BART to 16th Street or 24th Street will put you within four long blocks of Back to the Picture---a healthy walk!
